Okay well i have a few issues that I'd like to work out with Mint on my new laptop. First things first, my networking issues. I can connect to my wireless, but my ethernet wired doesn't work. I'm fairly new to command line so steps that require it need to be explained in a clear manner. thanks for any help in advance!

Info that might help:

ok that looks all standard....for not having an ethernet device installed

though i see that lspci notices it as "Attansic Technology Corp. Device 1063" maybe you could find a linux driver for it? attansic isn't one i've heard of personally but right now it looks like your issue is that your OS isn't actually recognizing the hardware (as lspci works off hardware readouts and not necessarily drivers)
