Hey Everyone devileek.gif

I've just installed OpenSuse as a dual boot on my system. In previous install of linuyx distro's the internet has all worked straight for the get go. However this time it dosn't seem to be working. dntknw.gif And I have no idea how to get it up and running. I'm using a cable modem with Netgear Router. Connected via ethernet cable rather than wifi.

Can anyone help?

Try running ifconfig in a terminal.
if it displays a eth0 or eth1 connection try running the command dhcpcd eth0 up or dhcpcd eth1 up depending on what number it assings to your ethernet port.

Ran ifconfig, under SU, and it came back with etho0. Then ran dhcpcd eth0 up and everything is up and running now a013.gif Thanks.
