Open a program like Power Iso.
Choose "Open"
Find the folder that has your KVCD movie in it.
Open it and double click on the file with the largest amount of data (bin file) it's usually the top one.
Then, in your ISO program you'll see the video cd with folders beneath. If you go to the MPEGAV folder and open it, you will see the .dat file, usually named AVSEQ01.dat
Highlight this file and choose "Extract" and send it to the folder of your choice.
You can then rename it as the name of the movie, but it will remain a .dat file.
It can be played on most media players. I use GOM media player with K-lite mega codec pack.
Now, the problem with this is that it is very difficult to scroll the movie forward or backward if you want to. It's a bit tedious because the file does not respond as readily as other media files do. But it should play through just fine.
As suggested to downloaders, KVCD movies are best burned to cd and watched on the tv.
Hope this helps some of you. I use this method frequently.
