Basically i'm doing a power point on the "100 years war" and i want something to be playing in the background, something passiveish.

any ideas?

For "normal" music, get the first album by Angels of Venice. For some pretty eerie period music get one of their later albums. Their music is purely instrumental. Going in the opposite direction, for some extremely strange, to me anyway, medieval vocal music get anything by Hildegard Von Bingen. Loreena McKennitt, the popular Canadian singer who mixes Celtic and Middle Eastern and Classical for some gorgeous music has a number of songs you could use. Her live albums might even be better than the studio ones as the backing band tends to have longer instrumental parts. The album, Nights From The Alhambra, has some fantastic long cuts that might work. Finally, there is a large female vocal group called Mediaeval Baebes that would be good to check out. I have albums from all of these artists except the first one uploaded on Demonoid which is unfortunately down at the moment. They have also been listed here in the Music/Loseless section, but again, with no tracker nothing is happening right now. You should be able to find the album from McKennitt easily. In fact, I think someone else here uploaded it. You might be able to find Hildegard Von Bingen on Mininova. The other two artists will be difficult but doable. Good luck.
