Firstly i downloaded AVIdemux, obviously i wanted it for video editing..
i open a video and go to video filters (ctrl+alt+F) and the video filter manager opens in a window!!
in that i go to misc option to the left and select eraser(which is used to erase a certain area in the video) i erase the video part i want to and then when close the video filter manager i get a crash traceback window!!
Take a look at the screenshot and look at the error displayed, any insight on what went wrong is very much appreciated

i cannot be os much assistance
only thing i can do is ask if you have already reinstall program and codecs...

does it give the same error when you just open the file and re-converted for something? or just when you cut it?

well it shows this error when ever i try apply ERASER filter on any clip !! :)

wierd doh...

lets see if anyone can help you on this one...
i simple don't have enough knowledge yet :(
