Have not really gotten into the game yet even thou I have it installed , trying to get into Scorpian Disfigured as well as M.W.2.

If the Borderlands single player campaign mode does not send you try it online, no valid CD key required.

For those of you who enjoy the excitement of treasure hunt, one little jewel that is infinitely priceless is the fact that this game does not require any form of online authentication to play online multiplayer matches.

I've got Borderlands sitting on my harddisk but haven't tried it yet -- I'll give it a go soon, though, as I keep reading favorable comments smile3.gif

I just installed it yesterday. It's not bad. Though the dog things will get annoying... very annoying.

its a good game. game is short though and story really hurts the game side quests are no different than the main quests i would give it a 8/10

Doesn't anyone play on a console? mda.gif

Sandstorm
I only use the console now, but as far as Borderlands is concerned I have been playing so much COD MW2 that Borderlands has been collecting dust on my shelf lol Have not even opened it up yet. drinks.gif All the good reviews convinced me to buy it heh

My homie got this for his 360 and we played the co-op mode. I like it alot, its freaking amusing as hell, especially when you get up close and just blow thier heads off with the shotgun. im currently waiting for it to finish downloading, but the torrent is going so sloooooooowwwww..... cray.gif

I played this game through on co-op with my buddy and it was pretty fun. The game play aspect of it is the best part, cool guns, cool effects etc... If you're looking for a game with a good RPG story this is not what you want. Also, you reach the final boss at about lvl 35 and hes the easiest thing to kill in the game. We just sat there shooting it without getting touched it was kind of disappointing. Then to reach the level 50 cap you have to restart the story and do the exact same missions over again. I can't wait to play it online co-op with 4 people though, thats where they say the game really shines and gets pretty fun and challenging, but my 360 just RRoD for the 4th time so it'll be a while....

My brother loves this game and I've watched him play. Me? It's cool but I don't feel the need to play it.

ive played about 2 hours also im a lvl 6 beserker but i agree with Hashishin666 those skags (dogs) are very annoying, they come out of nowhere

Also for those who didnt find single player fun, i think the game was really based on multiplayer and online play (try those and if you still dont like it then theres no changing your minds) :P

While i don't think that this was by any means a revolutionary game i really enjoyed the single player, I think that the guns are the main draw to this game be it single or multiplayer. I was hoping it would have the depth that fallout 3 had, But it was still enjoyable. I liked that they gave you a vehicle, helps get through some of the dogs, spiders and other novelties of the game. Overall 7/10

i also bought this game yesterday, along with dr ned zombie addon and i think its pretty awesome, alot of guns and customisation, nice cell shaded graphics and cool maps
nothing much to say about it lol
i think im gona complete the game, play some online matches and never pick it up again, games these days dont have much replay value..
thas why im still hooked on tekken 6 :D

I got the game for Christmas, and I have to say that I have been addicted to the game. The cartoon like graphics style is a great contrast to all the shooters that are about "realism". The elemental damage (Fire, Acid, Lightning, Explosive) is incredibly amusing to watch take place, and it is a great game. Not to mention the fact that there are literally millions of weapons.

Just some info I could've used to save time figuring it out slookani.gif

TerraPunks
i havnt played it yet but i really want to, it looks like one of the better cartoony games
Blood.Red
i got this game for the 360 since my friends were telling me about how amazing it was and blah blah blah.

definitely not living up to expectations. it cant keep my interest and i just find it not very fun at all. anybody else feel this way?
ADL_242
I'm only level 11 or so (currently entered the Safe House section). The funny bits come later, I suppose, though perhaps the cartoon-style graphics are creating the expectation of a funny game. It's very hard at times, actually -- so much so, that I'm left wondering whether I skipped too far ahead in the open world unsure.gif

I'm not giving up on it yet, though, as the rewards for getting through a tough section were worth it so far devil read.gif
ADL_242
Completed it today and overall, I thought it was well worth playing -- I might try the multiplayer too smile3.gif

The weapons were nicely balanced: you naturally have the tendency to stick to a particular type but it becomes clear throughout the game that that's not always the best strategy -- this plays out as intended by the developers, so good gameplay there.
dEVIANT
Finally got around to buying this one today (PS3) will give it a run through later if I can drag myself away from MGS4
ADL_242
I enjoyed it and the 'The Secret Armory of General Knoxx' addon. It gets a bit repetitive at times, but I like the atmosphere and once you master/collect the right weapons, it's fun to outpower the enemies.
dEVIANT
Also bought Silent Hill Homecoming and Bioshock so it might not get played as much as I first thought biggrin.gif
loontang
i kinda got bored of it after i reached level 21. its a fun game though and much more fun co-op
LavecRL
The better half is on his second run through this now with all three add ons. I'm loving sitting here listening to the characters, Scooter, Moxxi and where can I get me a claptrap?
ADL_242
I didn't realize there were 3 addons already -- seems like I have some revisiting to do, though I'll probably have to start over as I've reinstalled Windows since last playing it unsure.gif

Thanks, LavecRL! drinks.gif
