I did a search through this section and to the best of my knowledge this shouldn't be a duplicate topic. So, picture this:

You are driving to meet your maker and you are told that you can take 1 CD along with you on the drive. Now, we are talking about the good old audio CD, no mp3s. Let's say you can put about 15 songs in there. What would your playlist contain?? What would you want to hear one last time before you die?? Do tell. I am all ears.

Here's my list:

1. RATM - Killing In The Name
2. Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
3. Metallica - Turn The Page
4. Everlast - Put Your Lights On
5. Eminem - The Way I Am
6. Elvis Presley - In The Ghetto
7. Snoop Dogg - Who Am I (What's My Name)
8. Marilyn Manson - Rock is Dead
9. Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
10. Korn ft. Fred Durst - All in the Family
11. Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
12. The Doors - Light My Fire
13. Immortal Technique - Dance with the Devil
14. Bob Dylan - Like a Rolling Stone
15. The Beatles - Hey Jude

That was more tiring than I thought it would be. iseestars.gif

I'd take:

1) Pink Floyd - See Emily Play
2) B52's - Wig
3) R.E.M. - It's The End of The World
4) Ting Tings - Thats not my Name
5) M.I.A - Paper Planes
6) The Factory - Try a Little Sunshine
7) Magazine - Shot By Both Sides
8) Temptations - Get Ready
9) David Bowie - Cygnet Committee
10) The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds
11) Deep Purple - Child in Time
12) 10 000 Maniacs - Cotton Alley
13) Velvet Underground - What Goes On
14) The Who - Baba O'Reilly
15) The Big Pink - Velvet

Though I just know that halfway down the road, I'd think of some others I should have added instead cray.gif
Harb
1. Foo Fighters - Disenchanted Lullaby
2. Evanescence - My Immortal
3. Emmanuel Gial - Back In The High Life Again (from a friends album)
4. Buckethead - Soothsayer
5. Guns N' Roses - Civil War
6. AC/DC - Highway to Hell
7. 3 Doors Down - Here Without You
8. RHCP - Road Trippin'
9. Pete Murray - See the Sun
10. Powderfinger - My Happiness
11. Michael Jackson - Main in the Mirror
12. Metallica - Wherever I May Roam
13. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
14. KISS - A World Without Heroes
15. Iron Maiden - The Legacy

Those would probably be my pick if they were the last i'd ever listen to. Some for hope, some for fun and some to remember who i really am and what i'm conscious for! I think it fits the bill well, however 15 is a really strict number.

My list changes by the moment. Here is a current selection in alphabetical order stopping when I get to 15. In reality, I am going to play the same game as was done in 1001 Nights and come up with a new list of songs every day until God, the Devil or whomever gets tired and moves on to choose someone else. devileek.gif

6. Al Stewart - On The Border (Live Version)

Hmmm. I see a mega playlist in the making if this keeps up. At least I intend to create a top 100 after weeding out repetitions, once and if we get a few more posts in.
