While downloading gigs of music is convenient, listening to it is a bit of a problem for me, and i was wondering where i could order CD's online.

CD-Rss or CDs? If you want actual audio CDs, go for either Best Buy or Amazon.

what is CD-Rss?

I was trying to stay away from big stores like that, because my mom had some subscription directly from one of the major labels and saved a ton of money from buying directly from them.

I think she means CD-Rs that are blank.

Well it turns out, my mom was subscribed to BMG music which was bought out by Sony earlier this year i believe, so they released a new site yourmusic.com which has CD's for $7 a piece, and you get a CD monthly for $7 a month, and you get a free CD for signing up.

Today i got 9 CD's for 48 USD.

Amazon is a great source for used CDs. You pay $2.98 each for shipping which sucks when you buy more than one from the same vendor but you can still find lots and lots of music in excellent condition, often brand new. Regarding the subscription website you belong to, I think most everyone sooner or later signs up for one of those packages. biggrin.gif The biggest criticism I have is that most times you are limited to a particular label.
kirmil
Yea, it's Sony/BMG/other labels bought out by those two, and it is pretty limited, would you happen to know of any other subscription sites that support some other major labels?(Warner or Universal)

They used to have CD clubs in the States. They would give you 10 or 20 CD's for free when you joined and you had to agree to purchase several more over the next year. It used to be a well known scam to join up under an alias to receive the freebies and then forget to purchase any more after that. They've probably tightened up on this though.
