Before you can download from tvtorrents.com you must share a file or, be invited, or donate. It is very easy to share a file. You can not just upload a file though, you must go through the following steps.
1. Go to tvtorrents.com and click join. Fill in the entire form EXCEPT for the invitation number. They will send you an email to activate your account

2. Once you have activated search for a POPULAR torrent. Once you have found one go to another site (ex: torrentspy.com and download the same file. The name does not have to match but it HAS to be the same size. This is to ensure that it is the same video file.

3. Once it is downloaded rename the file to be the exact same as the one on tvtorrents.

4. Return to tvtorrents and click to download the show. When it asks you where to, save it to the same place as the one you got from torrentspy. It will tell you that the file is still there, just continue. When it starts downloading it will run a recheck to ensure it does not need to overwrite, If the recheck gets to 100% with no problem it will go from downloading to seeding. Seed to a minimum of 1. You have to have credits to download and the more you upload the more credits you get so upload as long as you can.

I use Azureus but it should be the same for them all. I hope this help at least one person because it took me forever to get on this site because at the time I couldn't find anyone that could tell me how.
It is a good web site with a lot of great shows.

Idk, it doesn't seem to work for me. Here's what I did:

1. Went to tvtorrents.com and decided to download episode 16 of house MD
2. Did not download it yet. Went to demonoid and downloaded the same file form there.
3. Renamed the demonoid file to what tvtorrents says.
4. Downloaded tvtorrents file, and a window prompted me to overwrite the file since they where the same name. I overwrote the file.
5. Double clicked file, utorrent opens, and doesn't start downloading, uploading, or checking.

Honestly, don't know whats going on.

The two files must not have been exactly the same. That is why it just wanted to overwrite the existing file. If it is exactly the same it will just check the file and start seeding.Try it again with another file. Make sure that the two files are the same size. when you download from demonoid make sure that you take out the downloaded from demonoid file.txt. There should nothing in the file but the avi. No rar files or anything else. If it still dont work let me know and I will help you get started by finding you the correct files.

I still don't get it. :( If you rename the file exactly, it will always prompt you to replace it or change the name. I just don't seem to understand.

Okay Nightshivertry lets try this. First download the torrent attached to this message (it is for Survivor, Season14 Episode 7). Once you have it downloaded remove it from utorrent and change the name of the file to : survivor.1407.pdtv-lol As you will notice this is not the exact name of the .torrent file, the .torrent file says survivor.1407.pdtv-lol.avi so when you rename the files you just drop the extension (.avi). Now go to tvtorrents.com and look up survivor(US) and find episode 14x07 An Evil Thought. As you see the file size is 344MB which is the same as the first one you downloaded. Download the torrent. When utorrent opens it will ask where to save the file. Make sure it is the same place that you saved the first one. Your % done bar will quickly climb to 100% and the file will start seeding. I hope this does it but if it does not just let me know. One way or the other I will get you on this site!

the easiest thing to do is to do a show that just aired so that you will get the most hits. It will be slow at first but overnight it will get big.

I'm less than impressed with that site, I gotta say. I didn't successfully download a single thing off it yet somehow my credits are at -982.0? I had a problem with Transmission and nothing good was saving, but I mean come ON! I had the thing going for a few hours and my balance is that bad?

edited to add: yes, I'm grouchy...I tried this whole download something else to seed on TvT and it isn't working. So much luck to everyone else, most sincerely. I'll go back to the Pirate Bay for tv torrents.

I do find its hard to get your credits back up once you download something (but the speeds are brilliant for that at least with so many seeders). I also enjoy the 1.5 credits when your seeding.

I am currently downloading a torrent.
When you say rename the file do u mean just the folder or all the files. do i have to rename it bittorrent or just where it is saved
Do i have to remove it from bit torrent or keep it there

Simple and efficient thx for this post, worked great for me. people should keep in mind that if they already have full season of shows they can use the same priniciple to share more files and get more credits.

why are people tring to get invites, whole point of torrents is to SHARE files, this invite thing, sure yeah thats a good way to start but a better way is to create an account on tvtorrents,

i donated 1 euro (about 80 p in uk) each month that adds 1 gig extra than what ive got each time,

it makes you a premium member, which gives you 3 times the amount of credits than normal ,

i joined therm last august and although i dont leave my comp on all the time, ive now got 584 gig credits

best thing to do to get creds is to download a show that people want EVEN if you dont want it , just to get the credits to get the progs you want. i.e. your HELPING and SHARING others to get what YOU want

I think you missed the part where tvtorrents closed registration... people are asking for invites to create an account *not* for credits.
