Anyone into this series? I've recently gone by my local comic / music / whatever shop and picked a a few volumes up, I 'm a HUGE Gore / zombie / brutal blood bath death style person.. lol.
But in other words if anyone has read this series or has any suggestions as to something similar or any other zombie / gore related things please do share ; )
For those that don't know the series it's basically like any of the " Dawn of the Dead " series movies, it's in an setting where the world has crumbled to complete chaos due to zombie / living dead outbreaks, and now it's up to a small group of individuals whom survived to determine man kind's existence !

I know the story line a bit but just to give you a little bit mor joy in your ZOMBIE love amc has green lit the pilot for the series. So we get a Tv show to look forward to rip 
as for your purchace you made a good one you should also seek out dead world. this was a great comic from the early 90's. (excitement we had zombie day today) 7 hours of zombie movies!!

the walking dead is one of the best written comics around at the moment - definitely worth picking up - very excited about teh tv show -
My old buddy drew the first 10 issues or so, great series. i miss his art though. I can't wait for the show! I do hope they don't sh$t the bed.
A band made up of some my friends have wrote a song based loosely on The Walking Dead series about individuals you don't meet in the storyline which caught my interest in the series not to mention that it's about zombies. If I could find some place that sold it around where I live I would definitely give it a read. Also I'm really excited to hear Frank Darabount is the creator behind the tv series. I don't know what stage of production it's in but they don't even have the cast yet.

I've been reading this series since 6 months after it came out. I love it and consider it one of the best zombie world storylines I have ever come across. Definitely one that seems to have decent staying power as well as good stories. If it seems slow at first, drive through it, it picks up and quickly. Very few issues are mundane.
