So I was watching Zombieland and just thought I'd throw this post out there. What is your favorite weapon to use against a zombie hoard, either when/if it occurs in real life or in a video game and why you chose it. . .

While that does seem a little overkill ^^^ I prefer the good old reliable M1 Garand

After reading the zombie survival guide, I have to go with the Xiaolin Spade. Coupled with rule 4, (blades don't need reloading), for short range. A rifle for long range.

For melee...
It's noisy, needs regular cleaning, guts and other bodily matter jam the blade and it runs on already scarce and precious gas. Unfortunately, this weapon strikes most civilians as the ultimate zombie- killer because of its portrayal in movies. The advantages are the psychological advantage of having a massive, roaring blade in your hands and the fact that it can easily make a one-hit kill on a zombie.
For fun..
This weapon is basically a glove with metal spikes. This weapon allows you to operate guns, machinery, etc. and still have some defense against arm bites. Keep in mind that you have to get dangerously close to a zombie. Actual use of this item would entail rubbing your arm back and forth on a zombie multiple times, virtually cheese grating it to the point of haemorrhaging.

Well for the movie magic, a lightsaber. It would be fun to slice the zombie to pieces without the concern of a dulled edge.
For reality a Katana, Model 500 S&W Magnum Revolver and an AK-47 for its reliability, cheapness, and low maintenance.

I would have to say Chainsaw. It is fool proof, until I run out of fuel that is.

Well, an F-18 would do for me, fully armed and fueled. Let's see the undead bastards follow me in the sky, or a b-17 to wipe whole infected cities off the map.

thats a good idea with the airplane but you cant stay in a plane the whole time, who knows how long the zombies will last. what then !?

After whiping a whole city of the map I could stay there and defend my city. Eventualy people would find out there's a city free of zombies (I could have it surrounded by barbed wire) and more would flock to my city, and we could rebuild the whole world starting from there (the zombies would die out eventualy). And the people who would come would surely have guns and ammo. I could go on from there with my b-17 and clear out more cities, we would have something like a demilitarized zone (dezombified)

the F 18 is a good idea but what if you need a little more fire power or to carry more people, first thing that comes to mind is:

An AC-130 Spectre, run sucka run muwha hah hah haaaaaaaa
