For those who have not played it, typing l makes you look, typing l up makes you look up, i=inventory, n=north, s=south, etc. If you want to climb a tree, type climb tree, if you want to look in a mailbox, type open mailbox, then look in mailbox, etc. If you want it to be more descriptive, type maximum verbosity. I'm sure there is a complete list of commands on some site.
