I get a lot of Release lounge films and I want to Demux them before I put them onto server to stream to xbox


What can I use in linux to remove the 5.1 audio channel before I copy it to server?

Avidemux should work. It is a great program that will work on both Linux and Windows.

You can do it either by using direct copy ( no change ) or re-encoding it if you wish.

I have found the program and installed it seems ok BUT

It isn't keen on H.264 format.

To be honest I haven't a clue on how to remove an audio track it only highlights it as having one audio track. I am going to download another file to try.
