Just installed crunchbang (#!) on my girlfriends EEEPC 701. No issues, all good except the option to update FF. She is not worried but I was wondering if there is a simple terminal cmd that will do it. Thanks !

Firefox is built into the repo for each Linux build. There is usually a fair delay from a new Mozilla release as it is tested to make sure it ic fully stable before being added to the repo.

You can usually download the source and run that with the latest version. I always used the Mozilla build of Firefox rather than Ubuntu's as it's up to date and is updated.

Thanks for the info. a013.gif I will look into the benifits of upgrding, I am runnning Firefox alpha (minefield,) on my own system but don't want to mess to much with the girlfriends unless she chooses me to update it for her.

If stability is your issue stick to the version in the repo's.

If you want the latest release with maybe less stability choose Mozilla's
