After Bethesda published fallout 3 back in 2008, it was an instant success, it is EPIC, however, this has been spoken about for a while now, Falluot: New Vegas. It is the same style as fallout 3, but obviously in vegas, i have read a few articles about it and it seems good.Like all other fallout games. unfortunatly, it will be single player.

The game is set in 2280, exactly 129 years after Fallout, 39 years after Fallout 2 and 3 years after Fallout 3. It is also 203 years after the Great War, which was when nuclear weapons were launched by all the nuclear-capable nations of the world (mainly the United States, China and the USSR ).

The main storyline is, You play character who is a courier who was meant to deliver a certain package. However, you are attacked and left for dead in the desert, and then saved by a robot named Victor and Doctor Mitchell. The courier must now discover who were the attackers and what was in the package they wanted.

Gouls will be making an appearence again, there are mutants and new creatures such as "Big Horners" which are mutated "Bighorn Sheep" according to the fallout wiki

I think that this will be awesome 7.gif
It will be released later this year

I've Pre-ordered my copy of it (PS3) a013.gif

I'm looking forward to this as I really liked playing Fallout 3 - even though it was quite buggy.

Fallout 3 was from 2008? I still haven't played it yet so this DLC pack will have to wait too ShutUp.gif

I'm looking forward to this, even if it isn't being developed by Bethesda, Obsidian has done some excellent work in the past staying faithful to originals so I'm hoping they will pull a rabbit out of the hat a second time.

I quite liked Fallout 3. It reminded me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which I also enjoyed (and which was also buggy stounge.gif ) The only problem I had with it was the level cap. I didn't get the GOTY edition with the expansions in though. I hear they extended the cap a bit. I'll be sure to check out Vegas biggrin.gif

playing fallout 3 will be incomplete without playing the DLCs, even just the Operation Anchorage expansion. Fallout 3 is a great game. Everything you want in 3rd person games, RPGs and of course FPS all rolled into it soI expect nothing less from Fallout: New Vegas. I never expected an FPS to have reliance on stealth. FPS usually are run and shoot games. But hey, Fallout 3 has run and shoot.
I rank Fallout as my top FPS on my list.
There's already a video out on New Vegas, and the character seems to be wearing one of those cool Hellfire armors.

I bought Fallout 3 when it was released, but like Flatline it never really clicked with me. I liked Oblivion however, great game, maybe it was the swords and shields i liked more than the guns and nukes whoknows.gif

obviously thatswhatshesaid will give us a lowdown but the reviews i have read say its pretty much the same as fallout3 excepting the new storyline and scenery, bugs and all.
my brother raved about fallout3 so i bought it and it didn't gel with me so cant see this one being my cuppa tea!
PYROiNATOR
I've already played through the main quest line on hardcore and I am now trying to complete as many quests and achieve as many achievements as possible, I have set the difficulty to very easy to try and reduce the amount of time it is going to take up, I've played 54 hours already. I obviously think the game is amazing as was Fallout 3 but there are tones of bugs.
