My wife sings, i do all the recording/production, releasing, etc. we have a plethora of musicians with us... i also do all of the electronic music for the songs taken, puppet show, and people are children...

i'm not sure what genre we'd fall into since we do a round variety of things, sometimes a bit trancey, sometimes folk, lounge, whatever strikes the mood.

i also do a lot of fractal artwork, for my own amusement. a lot of fractal work goes up on to a Deviantart

one of my newest, that i consider to be unfinished, as an example:

full size (3200 x 2400) downloadable

i like that one a lot, but i have to be honest, i followed a tut to get the form ;P so it's not really mine... if you look close, i ripped a chunk out of that one for my sig here...

anyone who wants to drop a line or a comment, i'm around... :) hope you all enjoy

I've finally had a chance to listen to your songs properly on a decent system.. and pretty good they are too.

Eve's got a lovely vocal style yes.gif I particularly liked Taken and Puppet Show, sort of trancy-ish chill I suppose. To Be Me gave me goosebumps although I thought the guitar could perhaps be a bit further back in the mix to let the vocals shine through a bit more. Also love the wind sound in Live till You Die and Adore (havent any idea what she's singing about in that one, but I guess the title gives a little clue eh.).

The only one I wasn't too keen on I was People are Children, it sounds to me a bit rushed and seems to lack the soul of some of the others., but then thats just my opinion unsure.gif

Just a very minor teckkie point, I did notice a couple of pops and clicks on some of the vocals and a half-tidy large diaphragm condensor mic might make a world of difference, if you could get hold of one in the future sometime (tip: a pair of tights stretched over a wire coat hanger makes a brilliant pop-stopper when placed in front of your vocal mic wink.gif)

I look forward to hearing more from you and the band again mneten, and thanks for sharing it drinks.gif

oh, and I've pilfered "Clockwork" for use as a wallpaper, hope you dont mind saevilw.gif

:) taken is probably my favorite at the moment, as well... but then again that's kind of pompous, considering i wrote it and all. not the lyrics, but pretty much all the music. i actually have a second mix of to be me which is a bit more balanced, with more vocal shining :) the wind sound you refer to is actually a heavily effected recording of our guitarist playing saw (he's multi-talented!)... that was fun. people are children is one of our oldest songs, as this band anyway, and yeah i'd say it doesn't really have the same feeling behind it, though i still like it myself :) i think people are children would take on a lot more strength if at least SOME of the instruments were real. actually the harp in that is real, everything else is samples, and not good ones. i would KILL for decent mic's but we're poor for now. i don't even have a shock mount for the condenser i do have, i set it up on a little clippy tripod which, i think, came with an old digital camera i had long ago. and i've been too lazy to make a pop screen... or buy one.

:D thanks for the comments, they're much appreciated. and, of course, i do not mind a bit if you use any of the DA stuff for wallpapers, that's what most of them are made for ;)
