Forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section. Many of the tuts in this section are awesome for beginners like myself. I had 2 questions when i comes to making sigs. I am using Photoshop CS4 portable.

First question is how do you make the image within your sig leave the boarders? Here is an example of what I am talking about from a post here on Darkside. The example sigs are post numbers 29 or 38.

Second question is how do you add working URL links to the sig?

Any help here would be awesome. Thanks in advance

regarding the first question bud, make the canvas size bigger than the image, when starting fresh select new and make the background transparent

Thank you guys for the responses. I did see that tut you were refering to, but I thought there would be a different method. How about adding working links? Can anyone help me with that part?



I understand how to make a new background transparent, but how do I reduce the size of the next layer which would contain the rest of the sig, the size I was gonna use was 400x125 and then have the image to the left larger than the rectangle
