Just thought that the cartoon up-loaders could help.

There was a cartoon back in the 60's and I don't know if it was on Beanie and Cecil or looney Tunes or .. Whatever!

There was a character that when he yelled .. "BA BOOM" .. or something like it .. brought down mountain sides or some such thing?

Hell .. I have NO CLUE as to who or what the characters name was!

All I know is that my brother just passed away and I'm trying to find out .. WHAT the heck he was talking about .. as far as his favorite cartoon character was!?

Maybe it was .. Va-Boom?

Seems like he was a kinda barefooted, dirty caveman type dressed in an animal skin. (Not really a caveMAN as much as a caveCHARACTER?)

I think you're referring to The Flintstones?

There was a blond haired child that was the adopted son to Barney...the best friend and neighbor to Fred Flintstone.

The Kids name was Bam Bam. It was his name..and catch phrase as he would always shout "BAM BAM!!" with everything he did while smashing the world with his club.

The whole show takes place in the Stone Age.

I don't know which Saturday morning cartoon show it was on but it was on something like Looney tunes, The Bugs Bunny Show, Rockey and Bullwinkle. Beanie and Cecil or some such cartoon series.

His character, when he yelled Ba Boom would bring down mountain sides or create an opening in the side of a mountain.

This is Captain Caveman who screams his name and slams his club on the ground and that makes the mountains shake. It was Hanna-Barbera cartoon and a pretty good one at that. I hope that helps.
