I have just watched the Survival of the Dead and was disappointed :( cray.gif
i have enjoyed all of the films before

Dawn of the Dead (Classic)
Day of the Dead (V.Good)
Land of the Dead (Good)
Diary of the Dead (V.Good)
then i heard the Master was making another :) yahoo.gif
Survivial of the Dead yay clapping.gif
mmmmmmmm
after watching it i was disappointed cray.gif
its just like a rehash of his others with the added irish feud
he went over stuff that he had already covered
the premise of the film is that if the undead can eat other things then maybe they wont eat us
mmmmmmmm remeber back to the early days dont the dont use the Z-word undead eat other
things??????????????? i remeber in night of the dead - dawn of the dead - land of the dead -
that others things were eaten even though they still craved human flesh.......
hey who can blame them who would want to eat crap when yu got a nice bit of prime human
walking round?
anyway just thought i'd ask your thoughts upon the matter

regards
the Shadowman

Hi shadowman1968 devileek.gif

I've seen most of them, I think -- but Dawn of the Dead (in the shopping mall) still stands out as the best for me. The mix of panic/gore/violence/comedy/seriousness is balanced perfectly in that one. I liked the (2004) remake too but I've only seen that one partially. The Shaun of the Dead (2004) spoof was good as well, though the story should've lasted longer with a proper ending.

The similar 28 Days movie was decent too, if you haven't seen that one yet smile3.gif

I saw it and it was just the same old same old stuff used in all the other movies.

There's not much you can really do with shambling dead people. lol.

The animal-zombie angle could lend a few more ideas, perhaps?

Or the other way around: a movie about ordinary things that come alive, so you suddenly have to negotiate with a teapot to get a cup of tea... sorry, I've gone Disney here ShutUp.gif
