Equipment: Canon EOS 300D, tripod
Method: 3x AEB JPEG
Software: Photomatix (Tone Mapping)

Instead of showing the image here I'll link to it on my web space because I've got a "before" at the top and "after" at the bottom so the image is fairly large although I've resized the width down to 800 pixels.

I must admit it's not a great first picture but I was so desperate to get stuck in I didn't stray very far from my front door and the sun was blazing. I'm going to say the crazy thing and say I'm hoping the clouds are going to come over later so I can try something else.

After playing around with the camera a bit more I've discovered that I wasn't actually using bracketed source images.

Here are a few HDR images I've made: http://www.pictureinthesky.net/photos/hdr/

I've uncluded a collage of the source images for the car picture to show how I made the final photo. I opted for black & white because the car was silver and I found focus was being taken away to the red walls, green hedge and orange glow from the back door!

I am not an expert in these fields at all but I love hdr photos.these are looking very good, and I love that you put some before and afters.
look forward to more as you become more adept.

Really nice shots zeb. I liked the bottom right shot in the "car b&w collage."
