Any suggestions for a good .lit reader for linux(KDE) ???
I have been google-ing for quiet some time but I am unable to find a reader for .lit format files !

Try Calibre. It can convert them to another format, but it also has a reader that should be able to view them. Here is the install page.

Have you got Python installed/updated?

Calibre is in ubuntu's repositories, so you can just open terminal and type:
CODE
sudo apt-get install calibre


It should be just that easy drinks.gif

EDIT: Or are you getting that error from installing the packages in their repertories...?

yes python is installed.

^^^ command works, was trying to download and compile from the source files.
