Pc authority was looking at the New MBP, so as usual they'd send it through some tests and record the results,
But they ended up being skeptical of them and decided to wait a day then try them again (Let it cool overnight)
So the next day the started it up and ran a program called cine-bench which would Max the CPU.
To they're surprise they got the same results, The Core i7 was at 101°C!!!.
Theoretically it could boil water for us biggrin.gif

Weirdly enough this only happens to the 17 inch MBP the 15" run at around 80°C....
So yea thats an extremely over priced Water Boiler...

The cpu-core temperatures are a bit misleading here, though, imo - they only briefly mention that the underside was 'only' 39°C which is still hot, but (probably?) not egg-baking hot (no laptop pun intended) sawink.gif
