so recently I stumbled upon a teaser site of ubisofts: http://assassinscreed.uk.ubi.com/brotherhood/#/weapons

It seems to reveal some of the plot line and new weaponry available in the latest version of the series named "The Brotherhood" and wanted to see what y'all think about this next version of the game series and how you felt about the last game.

From IGN's website:

According to a fact sheet released by Ubisoft the game will feature an over 15 hour single-player campaign set in the city of Rome. Here Ezio will "Recruit and train promising young Assassins. Deploy them across the city as you see fit, or call upon them to aid you in your quests."

Some of the returning characters include Leonardo Da Vinci, Machiavelli, and Caterina Sforza. There will also be new and returning gadgets including poison darts, double blades, guns, parachutes, and a new take on the flying machine.

Perhaps the most interesting bit of information is the addition of character classes, each with their own skills and weapons. Click on the image above to see more screens including a look at the cast of characters that will be joining Ezio in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Its all just so very, very repetetive though, don't you think? Not a lot of effort in making the missions remotely different in both of the first two games. I so wanted the second to be better than the first, but same old same old.

Just my opinion folks blush2.gif

I've actually been playing AC Brotherhood for the last two weeks straight. I am disappointed that you have to basically start from scratch again, but the story, hidden treasures, and meta games seem to be what really gets me hooked I think I play more of the side missions then I do the actual main game.

Not at all impressed with Brotherhood - completed in 7 hours and wanting more...

A poor single player game - but I'm sure it was written for Live...

I've always played games for the experience of single-player... not to kill another player who's on a mission of their own...

I may be getting old...

okay so I just finished the game, and I don't get Why does juno have desmond kill lucy? It just seems to be such an abrupt and unsettling ending I may have missed something. But my understanding is the Desmond is a decedent of Adam, part of the first civilization, and that a catastrophic event will occur that will require him to find Eve and rebuild earth after the apocalypse. SO WHY KILL LUCY?!

anybody have an idea as to why this is pm me

@ AsboDuck its a vast improvement on 1 and 2 sure there are some samey elements to it but the variety in the side missions is fantastic like Crash i'm doing all the side missions before the mains.
@GaZa dude you musta just did the main missions and have missed out on the best stuff in the game which is the side missions did you do the warmachine missions they are great as are the lair of romus missions and quite a few of the guild missions are brilliant and lots of variation, this is not a short or boring game if you do those even collecting all the flags and treasure is challenging working out how the hell your gonna get up to them!
Rushing to the mains would make this seem quite short and after the last 2 games i can understand why some people would do that but this is a different animal the side missions are what make this game so good!

Agreed ^^^ I spent most of the first two days of the game trying to complete as many of the guild challenges (mainly the assassin ones for the sword of altair), they provide a real challenge to the game. That and the quest you go on to find the Romulus treasure is a heck of a strategy on its own.

Also gaza did you ever leave the Animus, there are also conversations between your co-horts and a laptop where you can read some interesting emails. Not only that but you can leave the villa and explore monteggrioni and find 5 collectible items scattered throughout the city.

After sleeping on it last night I believe I have come up with a reason why as per my last post. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't finished the game, so PM me if you are interested.

Guys - I am a dork....

Yes I said it - I think I was a bit grumpy and just went for it... Now I'm in the sublime period of gameplay - thanks Kano & Crash... drinks.gif
