Does anyone know a tracker where I can get ebooks in epub format, or a format that's readily convertible? I've tried for weeks (literally) to find a way to conver PDFs to epub without rendering it completely unreadable, but absolutely nothing I've tried works.

There are not that many trackers out there that specialize in ebook torrents, and I doubt there is was that specializes in epub format.

You may want to give a program called calibre a try to convert them with, if you haven't already.

Try posting for help in this forum on converting them, I am sure there are some people familiar with that format and will be very willing to help.

I am not very familiar with EPUB, so I cant be of much help, but I will PM you if I find anything info after researching.

ATM I am working on a guide for using Calibre to manage e-books and how to convert e-books into epub or other formats. I should have it up soon.

atm I've been using various apps mainly to convert ebooks to pdb format, needed for my MOBI pocket reader. Haven't had much need for epub. but this seems to do the lot in one go - I'll certainly try it. and freeware

update: Gave calibre a workout and essentially all you need to do...


... download ebooks in any format you can get - have given this utility a workout, mainly lit to pdb. Lit a MS product is one of the most protected and difficult formats to change and this little app had no problems, done with ease

so you need epub, get any ebook format use this app and convert to whatever you need.

Sounds good for the droid if i can get it to work in WINE

Calibre is available for Windows, Linux and Mac.
