Ive seen some reviews and it seems awsome. I loved "call of juarez bound in blood" but this seems even better...The problem is they dont make this for the pc so i have to get my hands on a console to play it.

Agreed, game is great! The game is totally different from what I expected and I didnt see the trailers so. Call of Juarez got none compaired to this so youll really enjoy this one, a must have title.

ok my last post was rather gushing and i feel needs to have some kind of qualifacation so here goes.

Anyone who has read any of my reviews before knows that i can be quite critical and in this case i am no different.
However, i cant find anything to critisize in this game, simply put this is the most amazing game i have ever seen, polished to an incredibly high degree it ticks every box.
Strong words coming from a guy who is far from being a fan of the GTA series of games, which is what this seems to be the next step and incarnation of.

Graphically its beautiful, from every angle the world takes your breath away, i have found my self riding across the prairie on my horse as the sun rises or sets and just stopped and watched that for 5 mins or so just as i would in real life and taken great pleasure in it, the graphics are just that good. In an open world game that is all about exploration this is an exceptionally important thing.
To date i have found no graphical defects.

The game itself is engaging with the single player mode having a strong story line, excellent voice acting and entertianing and excentric characters, plenty of side missons and variety every thing from helping to herd catlle to picking flowers , hunting wolves to catching and breaking your own horses, bounty hunting to rescuing prisoners from army barricks to ambushing a convoy of wagons to defending the train from attack or indeed attacking the train to treasure hunting yourself to name a few.

the controls after a short time of aclimbatization are intuitive and effective, shooting is just about right hitting a target is simple enough for anyone to do but achieving the mastery to shoot the gun from the hand and the hat of the head of your opponent in a duel instead of killing them brings a satisfaction because it requires skills to be developed, the fact that YOU can make these choices real time is mind blowing.

oh did i mention you can play poker, black jack, arm wrestling, horse shoes and a dice game called "liar's dice" also?

Also you aint gonna finish this game in a couple of days even if you play from sunrise to sunset its absolutely massive a rarity these days most games are just too short but not this. even taking advatage of the short cuts transportation modes rather than real time travelling this is a 20hr plus game and thats if you are just blindly chasing the storyline ignoring the side missons and without exploring and enjoying the environment and all the quirky events that take place around you involving animals and people.
Now for the good bit....... its not just a single player game.

online multiplayer allows you and up to 15 other people to roam this MASSIVE world(to ride around the border at full gallop would take over an hour) and you can take on cpu characters/gangs as an individual or in a posse with friends or even take on other non cpu characters in free roam or play several of the game modes such as Gang shoot out (team deathmatch) or a game of capture the bag(capture the flag in several variations)
with enough unlockables to keep you interested from the type of gun you weld to the type of mount you ride (ie horse to buffalo) to what your character looks like this is a winner all round.

This is simply the best gaming experience i have ever had and i cant recomend it highly enough.

And they are planning download content..........

Rockstar have set a new Benchmark in gaming with this.

I'd seen some good reviews but as it's console-only at the moment, I didn't really pay that much attention... until now!

I hope they'll port it to the PC as soon as humanly possible (without bugs, of course)!

i went to buy it yesterday and its sold out in every single shop in belfast so thats telling u how good it is and i want it so much ffs. what platform have u got it for kano? ps3 or xbox 360?

@ chopper :I have it on Xbox and i know that tescos in glengormley has it for xbox seen it this evening didnt see if they have the ps3 though!

@ ADL this is truly worth trawling ebay for a second hand 360 for shouldnt cost too much.

Just spent the evening in a private free roam with 2 mates we started off by taking on a fort full of bandits,after we appropriated a couple of decent horses from some poor mexicans passing by of course. Then we had a race from a small village in the mexican desert to a medium sized town in the middle of the prairies back in usa after that we headed through the swamps over the plains and into the city, shot the place up, climbing up onto the rooftops to fend off the cops, till we could get some fresh horses to make a getaway from the posse they formed, that chased us across the plains and into the mountians up north where we went hunting grizzly bears.

All in all an exceptionally enjoyable evening!

BTW these pics are in game, the graphics are that good all the time.

aww i want it even more now lol cheers mate i'll give tesco a bell shortly and see if they have any in stock because ive read its graphically far superior on the ps3 than the standard xbox 360 but dont know if thats correct plus i cant play games online on my xbox cuz its been modded

i got it yesterday and stil havent got the chance to play it! :(

Some of my friends have it already and they say it is amazing, i have the first one (red dead revolver) for the original Xbox and it is pretty good so im defiantly getting this.

Five Finger Filet is how I build bank quickly, not sure of any other way to do it quicker. Im not one who likes to google cheats...takes the fun away but tips are okay.

i started playing it tonight and im trying to decide whether to be good or bad and im thinking that the bad side is going to win :D

Just got it the other day and so far I have to agree with everyone else this game is awesome I'm about 10 hours into it and I have barley scratched the surface. so much fun to just ride around and check out the side missions. The only complaint so far is I don't want to stop playing(stupid job).I would highly recommend this one great game
