i am totally with you on this one behelzibub,oh medical supplies on this flotilla and you can rest assured they will not get through,it will be condemmed but no one does anything about it not even this gangster ridden irish goverment,its an absolute discrace.

This is just an action that made it to the world media spotlight. Israel has imposed and maintained something that is akin to an apartheid regime on Palestine for quite some time. This action was only a part of maintaining the blockade and sanctions on the region.

The only Problem is behelzibub, There is no Oil or physical attractions to give incentives for western governments to intervene..as for the UN .....The words chocolate and fireguard come to mind..

Israel is saying that those who were aboard the ships were carrying Mass Destruction Weapons ( Water, Food , Medicines ) and therefor they had the right to attack the ships (even though they were on International waters!!!)

I'm not sure how you concluded that from my post. The Nazis were guilty of genocide, apartheid was a South African invention, a progression of the colonial segregation introduced by the English. The Israeli's are guilty of apartheid type tactics practiced under the auspices of national security, not genocidal behaviour.

I was suggesting that the protests should be about the embargoes that have been enforced on Palastine and the suffering their causing rather than focusing on the single military action on the flotilla.

But before the nazi mass genocide they practiced a form of ARPRTHEID
Segragrated the jewish population, refused them the right to vote, jewish only buses,it goes on and on

It wont take much to change a blockade starvation of GAZA into a milatary conflict with the possability of mass casualties (mass murder)

This wouldn't be repeated if the aid ships merely sailed under the flag of the UN. To put themselves under the protection of the UN means that if Israel attempted to storm the ships a second time, they would have essentially declared war on the UN aka the rest of the World.

Which gives us, the excuse to send a UN Coalition Task Force and sort the whole mess out. If the UN doesn't do it, then NATO or the EU will. All it is, is just a matter of time.

Eventually the peace talks will fail, and we will have to use force. Most bullies like Israel don't understand something until they've been beaten senseless with it.
