Ok had this on disc for a while now but after reading and hearing bad reviews i have been put off watching it.. Well tonight i put it on as i was tierd so thought if its rubbish i can fall asleep.. Well suprisingly im still awake and thought it was pretty good.. Was not happy with the ending expected the ending to be better (deserved a better ending)...

So just thought i would see what everyone else had to say about this one?

Watched it - bored the hell out of me.
great execution, and acting - just a lame the world has come to an end storyline that goes nowhere fast.
Wife loved it tho, and mentioned it kept true to the book.

Overall it was just depressing - and not my favorite movie type.
If I wanted to get depressed all I do is look at my paycheck - it makes me sadder much faster and doesn't waste hard drive space.

Not my cup of tea...

Very well made film all round, although the story was a touch depressing.

Thought the ending was ok though.

^^^ I dint know what to think the two that took the lad looked like cannibals so did he get cooked for dinner or live happily ever after
