Nice work dfw but it's of 650x360. The allowed size is 640x300 at the most. Here it is. Good work anyhow biggrin.gif

nice work for your first sig drinks.gif

unfortunately it's too big at 650px × 360px. The forum size guidelines say no more than 640px x 300px so please resize it.
thanks smile3.gif

Sorry for it being bigger than allowed. I guesstimated it. Now that I know the actual size, I've created a new one. :)

That one better mate clapping.gif try making it same size as Fae's sig ( 400 x 200 ) look much better smaller :)

Nice first try mate. a013.gif

I'm no expert but i have dabbled in PS a few times before so i'm gonna be honest here ... the render isn't very well cut out. Thats why there is that uneven white line all round it.

You could try zooming in and erasing the outline. Or selecting it and "feathering" the edges. Also you could make "duplicate" copies and set them over each other with different layer properties like luminosity. soft light, overlay etc. Experimentation is the key here as you can always "undo" what ever it is if you don't like it.

But all in all a very good first try. clapping.gif

You know, you're absolutely right :). I was working with some images that my son gave me, and I wasn't being very experimental, but I think I'll go ahead and do that. I appreciate the idea Ch@os. Thank everyone for y'alls suggestions. I'll definitely work on it... by the way though, these weren't done on PS, they were done on paint.net... I'll definitely try PS next time

^^^^ That ones better in size mate :)

There is also Sumo Paint which is another online free alternative to PS...

Keep them coming

Gotta say i have never tried any of the online paint programs but use a "lite" version of cs4 now (not to be confused with portable which installs on a memory stick i believe).

Photoshop as you probably know is part of the adobe collection and therefore as many extras in it to link it with dreamweaver, adobe reader for pdf files and elements etc. The version i have has all that removed and installs in seconds fully working as far as photo editing/sig making is concerned. I'm sure it must be on here somewhere i have had my copy ages but will upload it if it helps. good.gif
