I was hoping one of the very talented artists in this forum could help me resize this picture and add some text to it, so I can use it as a header for a webpage. i would greatly appreciate any help.

The suggested size for the header is 1339 x 230. I understand that this would require shrinking the image in some aspects but I have no clue how to do that nor do I have the programs necessary. I was hoping someone with the right skills could help me out. As for the text to be added in, I would like it to say "FMLB Dynasty League Home Page" (without quotes). I trust anyone willing to help me, with the creative freedom to modify the image and text style as needed.

Please do not attach or post an image if the dimensions are more than 640x480... link to the image instead. You can remove the attached image from a post by editing your post if a Mod or Admin has not already done it. I suggest using Imageshack or Photobucket to upload your photos to (rather than attaching to a post). You can upload the full resolution photo to them and they will give you the BBCode to use a thumbnail for on the forum which will link to the full-size photo, or you can resize down to a web forum friendly size (640x480) during the upload process if you check the appropriate option in the Upload Options.

I prefer the text in the second one myself

usually if I'm just looking to change the size of an image for a post I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager, edit, resizing by percentage until i get to a usable size.

thanks for the help. sorry about attaching the pic, i knew better than that too. I hadn't slept in forever. A lot of late nights creating a company website on weebly. I appreciate the fast response.

I use IrfanVeiw it's a great FREE program and has good features for pic resizing and file size control. So you can have 640 x 480 pic and just slide the little bar on file size till it meets spec.
