Watched last night and after seeing the trailer i gotta say i was expecting much better... Ok it was not dreadful but it was not brilliant.... If you have watched it then you will have seen they left it wide open for a second, which will hopefully be a lot better...

I just think they should of started this one where it ended , if you have seen the tv series you will know what i mean.. I wanted to see the A team helping people out and been chased by Decker clapping.gif o well guess that will come in number 2

It was a fun movie, not too stimulating. Watching stuff blow up and having a few chuckles is about what i expected.

Being a fan of the old series I had high hopes for this movie, especially with one of my favorite fighters playing the part of B.A.
But to be honest I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It wasn't a complete flop but it was just ok.

Thought that movie was really bad, the storyline was unfinished and it had a horrible beginning. Were they already a team? or did they create it in this movie?

SPOILER HIGHLIGHT TO READ

No TP the team was created in the movie, only Face and Hannibal knew eachother, Hannibal met BA and only knew of Murdock.

END SPOILER
PYROiNATOR
I liked it, the story wasn't great but the action scenes were amazing. Expecially the part where they fly the tank. <-- Highlight to read, its not really a big spoiler but i covered it just in case.

I thought the casting was excellent ... I didn't realise that Sharlto Copley who played 'Murdoch' was the same guy who played 'Wikus van der Merwe' in "District 9"...

Only realised during an interview with him about the "A - Team" the other night...

Well I watched it and enjoyed it.. not great, but then the series wasn't great either.. just ok. It's no blockbuster with an amazing script, I think the makers kept it in line with the TV series. I found it totally watchable. good.gif

If you ever saw the originals this plot was superb!

I remember this show from way back. I used to love it as a kid, I can remember my father making commits throughout the show about how they never manage to hit anyone they were shooting at. They always seem to get locked up somewhere that had steel plating and acetylene torches to fabricate some makeshift armor out of. Don't forget the most incredible luck to let them escape at just the right moment week after week.

A couple of years ago I saw a rerun on TV, thought to myself "Oh cool I haven't seen this in years!", that quickly turned to "How the hell did I ever watch this cr@p?!". Pops was right! The story line was terrible, acting mediocre at best, the plot was so thin you could see right thru all the thin spots, and there was a lot of them. In short the show was horrible to sum it up in a single word. All this went towards me not really caring if I ever saw the movie.

As it would happen there was nothing to watch, and not much else to do one night so I got it from here and we watched it. My lady thought it was awful, however I, having some very low expectations, was pleasently surprised. I was actually entertained! Even caught myself laughing out loud a few times. All in all I thought it wasn't a bad movie. It was kind of a prequel to the TV series, but as mentioned they left plenty of room to expand the story in a sequel.

Don't expect anything on the level of an award winning movie and you will probably enjoy it, especially if you were familiar with the TV series. I thought they did great justice and improved immensely on the series, and yea it's about time someone actually got killed in an A-Team shoot out. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to remake the series, but it was a pleasant surprise. I can't believe I'm saying this but I would actually recommend it! ShutUp.gif

I also liked the movie - there was room for improvement, like the chaotic story and rather silly reworking of the theme (it sounded like they just put the original through a YouTube homemade filter or something) but the combination of the actors does work as a team - Hannibal's character could still use some expanding but I guess they're keeping that for the sequel. Jessica Biel is not my favourite actress, but that's not really relevant anyway ShutUp.gif

I was an avid fan of the old series. My grandmother of all people got me hooked. She had a tyhing for murdock. It wasnt a flop, But i expected more. Some of the things they did had the real essence of the old ateam, but the chracter work left something to be desired
