ive never really been a fan of video games... as a matter of fact, ive always been the guy that didnt like video games... i cud sit there and watch ppl play games, but most games are just too complicated and i just cant get into them... that was until i discovered the game bully... that game is great... by far 1 of the the best games ive ever played...
but like every thing good in life, it came to an end...
im playing the last level, after the credits, where i can get all the stuff i didnt during the normal game play, but eh, the game is pretty much over...
can some 1 here recommend another game, similar in style to bully that might be fun to play...
im not looking for suggestions like call of duty... i hate those games... or grand theft auto...
bully is very unique... and i want a game similar to that...
thanx in advance

Saints Row is pretty good. It's kinda like GTA, but very tongue in cheek and over the top. It is based around gunplay though really so if you aren't looking for that, then maybe not. Fallout 3 is also excellent, great story and you can do pretty much what you want and can almost ignore the story completely if you want.

Off the top of my head, I can't really think of anything else, unless you want to span into other genres away from open world sorta games. On the more RPG kinda side, Blue Dragon is an excellent game. Don't be put off by the kinda childish graphics at all. It is massive, immersive ad very enjoyable, if you have the time to play it (50+ hours)

You might like Red Dead Redemption. (Not sure what consoles you have access to though)

Most of the game's story takes place in the year 1911 in the American Old West territory and follows John Marston, a former outlaw, while he sets out to hunt down his former gang members. Marston's wife and son are taken by the government in exchange for his services. Having no other choice, he sets out to bring three former gang members to justice.

It has a very powerful and immense storyline, again with this, I was a little upset when it came to an end.

i forgot to mention... im using my pc to play games, and have a xbox 360 wireless controller... i recently had my comp upgraded... so i can play all those newer games as well... i did install ghostbusters, but im having troubles trying to get past the 3rd level...
i seen all the commercial for that Red Dead Redemption... the whole wild west has always interested me... but i didnt think i would be interested in the game... but ill give it a shot... it looks like a great game...

i just watched the trailer for fallout 3...

it looks like a cool game... but its not quite the same as bully, the angle i mean, where you see jimmy the whole time, and you can follow him... thats what i ment when i ment by games like bully... i dont like those first person shooters where it shows you as the person, and your the person and you cant see there body...
and bully also has an amateurishness to it as well... where as all these other games are sooooo serious...
i dunno...
thanx for the suggestions so far

Ah, have a look for third person shooters smile3.gif

The Tombraider series uses that too (or at least, it used to) - and if you don't mind being scared, then Dead Space is another one. By the way, the combination of storyline with alternative actions (not shooting all the time) might interest you in Mirror's Edge too, though that's a first person shooter to the extreme.

Fallout 3 can be played as a First Person or as a Third Person Shooter depending on player preference, so if you liked the look of it in First Person but would like to play it in Third Person, it is possible. Get it! I'm on my 3rd playthrough at the mo and I still love it!

i was hoping for more fun games... not that all these games arnt fun per say, but they have a too serious story to them... ya know what im saying...
Dav13s
Well...You're in trouble then i'm afraid to say, until Rockstar decides Bully needs a sequel, or maybe a prequel lol. Having said that, Naughty Bear looks quite fun, although i'm not entirely sure how open worldy it is to be honest. Maybe worth a look though.

i got another question for yall thats a lill off topic...
i have a copy of ghostbuster on my comp, and its a little hard at the moment, so i need a trainer for a little part of it cause i cant get past this 1 part... but it says that i need to hit the 5 buttons on my xbox 360 controller to activate all the options... and i can only see 4 buttons that can be used on the controller...
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41O4...Q6L._AA300_.jpg
can any 1 tell me where the 5th button is...
thanx in advance
ratz

ps: sorry if im sounding like a idiot... and i really do appreciate all your help

Does your controller have trigger buttons (on the top side of that controller in the picture)? That would make it 6 buttons, though ShutUp.gif

Trainers tend to be found on sites with dodgy ads, so be careful when you go looking -- for that reason, I'll send you a link via PM rather than allowing a request for it devil read.gif

A good catalogue site is http://gamespot.com/ but I stopped trusting their ratings last year or so, when it was revealed that they forced a reviewer to retract his bad review of a game because the game's producer was advertising on the site. Still, it's a decent site to search for games & info.

For downloading official gamepatches, the best I've found is http://GamersHell.com/

Another good source for patches/demos and such is fileshack

Ah thanks, erazerswe, that's a nice-and-easy-on-eyes site! drinks.gif
