Another time / place I would love to experience is London in the 1920s.
People were stylish and outrageous.
They loved to party, and there was some great music around.
There was no such thing as "elf'n'safety", nor political correctness. Smoking was almost mandatory, as was quaffing copious amounts of Champagne and snorting long lines of cocaine.
Gentlemen were gentlemen, unless they wanted to risk being called a cad. (Oh, the shame...

)
Traffic was almost nonexistent and cars were real cars, not fly-by-wire boxes stuffed with computer chips.
Mind you, if was was to visit that era, I'd want to be pretty well-heeled - not so much fun if you were broke!
Yes, quite fancy myself as a London dandy back then!
