Instructions:

1. Make your iPod available for Hard disk-Use in iTunes Options.

2. Having done that you'll see your iPod in the Explorer. Acces it via doubleclicking it.

3. Click "Tools" -> "Folder Options" and then click on the "View" Tab and then check the box which says "Show hidden files and folders"

4. Now you'll see the Folder "iPod_Control", doubblecick it and select Music with the right mousebutton and change it's attributes by unchecking the box "hidden".

5. Than open your iTunes, go to "File" -> "Add Folder" and select the folder "Music", that you just made visible. Wait some time to let iTunes finish importing all your sound files from your iPod.

6. Then go To "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Advanced" and Check The box "Keep iTunes folder organized" is marked! Otherwise you will have quite a mess of Mp3's on your PC. If u do check the Box, iTunes sorts the Mp3s (if properly ID3-tagged) into folders sorted after artist/album name.

7. The final step for copying the files you select is: go to "Advanced" -> "Consolidate Library" and take a little snack, if your ipod is full it may take some time
