The poppy one's new? I like that a lot clapping.gif
faerie
They are all gorgeous AB
gonzolono
Beautifully shot photographs. I commend you. Where do poppies grow like that? I've never seen them so densely populated. Must be a jaw-dropping sight to see with your own peepers.

The poppies were such in a field some where near Guildford ...couldn't resist stopping to take the shot as they looked spectacular
ehm9000
spectacular pics, really nice

Wow great pics, I specially like the second one ( sorry don't know the english name ) and the last orchid...
Are these raw digital pics or did you worked on the levels\contrast\colors in photoshop?
Anyway they are really great!!!
ABBANDON
All the pictures are taken using a 5Mega Pixel Kodak DX4530 the only modification done is to crop the images and resize them to fit the fiorum guidlines ......or else I have to "play" with Tibby cray.gif

Nice Work! I am a dabbler in floral photography as well. I really love your work!
ABBANDON
That picture was indeed taken at RHS Wiseley you can also see them at Kew Gardens
Daedalus
Very nice photography. :a013:

I love that picture of the field. Something like that is absolutely unheard of around here where I live.
imasickboy
Very nice work. You have quite a knack for for this. Though I do find it just a bit humorous that the TDM likes to photograph flowers... secret.gif
Bastet
Awesome as ever - I like the bottom one best, but I don't have a clue what it is
ABBANDON
That one is Passiflora caerulea, or the common passion flower from Brasil.

Its half hardy and can be grown reasonably succesfully in sheltered areas of the uk and will even produce orange sadly inedible fruit.

Sadly a hard frost can kill them off buit they grow quite fasteven from seed.
faerie
they are all lovely...but..the rose with rain on it is wonderful...I love how the light is reflected from it and the change of colour where the water droplets are

Not by me! The most I've ever managed to grow is radishes ... and I was about 10

I dont know what to say.... they are gorgeous. I have a subscription to a wildlife photography magazine, and you've captured the same beauty. I simply adore the field of poppies. Oh...... magical poppies....

Ill look forward to more nature shots from you.

Wow those last 2 are just amazing also, the color is really wondeful

wow, this is top class stuff. just wish i had this kind of imagination and skill for my GCSE photography! biggrin.gif i got a b with fruit anyway.
these pictures are technically perfect, you must have a real flair.
ABBANDON
unsure.gif they are actually quite easy to take .....if you have a good camera and the only real technique involved is standard good photographic practice ...as steady a hand as possible.

The first of this years rain soaked Rhododendon's

Beautiful! I never tire of great floral shots. The lotus is of paticular interest to me. We've got TONS of 'em here in Taiwan. Naturally, they even have their own festival. I've taken a shot very similar to yours, but I like your colours better. Well done! :a013:
faerie
absolutely beautiful AB...as always smile3.gif

i must compliment you on your work, abb. most impressive. you can almost perceive a feeling of tranquility from them, especially the rain-soaked Rhododendrons (glad you spelled that, cos i couldn't biggrin.gif), the peacefull lull just after a bout of rain.
good stuff, keep em coming.
Bastet
Wonderful as ever :a013: , just running out of original compliments unsure.gif

Wow, the colors of the last one are just wonderful. You don't mind that I saved a copy of that one do you? Looks great as something put full screen to show off a good monitors colors.
