Beautifully shot photographs. I commend you. Where do poppies grow like that? I've never seen them so densely populated. Must be a jaw-dropping sight to see with your own peepers.

Very nice work. You have quite a knack for for this. Though I do find it just a bit humorous that the TDM likes to photograph flowers...

That one is Passiflora caerulea, or the common passion flower from Brasil.
Its half hardy and can be grown reasonably succesfully in sheltered areas of the uk and will even produce orange sadly inedible fruit.
Sadly a hard frost can kill them off buit they grow quite fasteven from seed.

they are all lovely...but..the rose with rain on it is wonderful...I love how the light is reflected from it and the change of colour where the water droplets are

they are actually quite easy to take .....if you have a good camera and the only real technique involved is standard good photographic practice ...as steady a hand as possible.

Beautiful! I never tire of great floral shots. The lotus is of paticular interest to me. We've got TONS of 'em here in Taiwan. Naturally, they even have their own festival. I've taken a shot very similar to yours, but I like your colours better. Well done! :a013:

i must compliment you on your work, abb. most impressive. you can almost perceive a feeling of tranquility from them, especially the rain-soaked Rhododendrons (glad you spelled that, cos i couldn't

), the peacefull lull just after a bout of rain.
good stuff, keep em coming.
