In this area of the forum, members are encouraged to:

- express their political views regarding current events; political figures, parties and movements; financial organizations; theology; media bias (or the lack there of) etc etc.

- express their support, or disdain, for political figures.

- express their support, or disdain, for political or economic systems. (such as Communism, Socialism, Capitalism, Fascism etc.)

- express their support, or disdain, for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) (such as GreenPeace, Red Cross, Amnesty International, Doctors Without Boarders etc.)

- express their support, or disdain, for internationl financial institutions (such as: The World Trade Organization [WTO], The International Monetary Fund [IMF], The World Bank etc.).

- express their opinions with regard to current events and the way(s) in which these events are portrayed by various media outlets.

- discuss the pros and cons of various economic theories.

- discuss social issues and taboos.

- discuss the positive and/or negitive effects caused by government policy, both foreign an domestic.

- We encourage you to cite your sources when posting - i.e provide links to web-pages that you are using for information

Images depicting snuff/graphic violence are not permitted on the Darkside forum. However, some images of violence may possibly be posted, with prior permission from the staff, IF they add to the substance of the debate. Any unapproved images deemed inappropriate will be removed immediately by the staff, and the darksider responsible will be placed on mod-preview (baby-sitter mode) indefinitely.


NO FLAMING OR TROLLING (no insulting your fellow Darksiders)

For example; you're more than welcome to say unpleasant things about a political figure, however, you are NOT allowed - under ANY circumstances - to insult, patronize or ridicule any of your fellow Darksiders, even if they support a political figure or idea which you are strongly opposed to. In short, you can disagree with your fellow Darksiders but you cannot disrespect them. Any posts that contain personal insults directed at a fellow Darksider will be promptly edited or removed by the staff. Chronic flaming will result in a warning from a staff member, if a member continues flaming after having been warned, he/she will be placed on mod preview. Any further flaming by a member placed on mod-preview, will result with him/her being permanently banned from the site.

Please do not deny the Holocaust as this causes offense and makes you look like an arsehole
