Go into WinAmp preferences
next go to plug ins and Out Data.
mark disk writer and click config
Choice the dir where you have your flac files
mark the box that write to the same directory where you have your songs to make it easy and then click OK...
then close (now back at the player) pick the dir of your files and then click play (it should now convert your flac files.

Important!!
After you've converted go back to preferences and to plug ins and Out Data.
now mark Direct Sound and click config and then OK.
then close (back to player again)
If you don't do that you will convert next time you click play...So don't forget.

Same here, I have been using Audio Converter to convert files for three years, and paid 30 bucks for it to boot.

Thanks for the lesson!

There is as always a much simpler o[ption as far as im concerned.

i use a free player called spider player, guess u also need the aac plugin too,

its a quick and simple player, i like it over winamp coz of a number of reasons,

so anyways, assuming u have the spider player and the aac plugin, add the flac files into the plugin and right click on the file that u want to be converted, then click on options and choose between wav, ogg, mp3, wma and put the put the output dir, tweak the settings if u want and click convert ........

thats all there is to do!!!!!!!!!!

You could always just use the FLAC Frontend found on the FLAC web site.
