I couldn't find the information I need to do this on a Mac, so I'm going to just beg: how do I add subtitles to AVIs with my Mac? What program do I need? I have Toast 8 and ffmepg, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone help me out?

in ffmpegx check the filters tab for the "Load Subs" field add in the file there

Do you add the actual AVI file or is there something else that needs to be added. I converted the file and there was a log file. Can you help me?

how would you load subs without FFMPEG? I have toast 9.0.1 and visualhub 1.34, and handbrake.

I got FFMPEG 0.9... and it kinda sucks since I don't know how to get it working... I'm trying to load subs and it's telling me it can't do a preview for me.... but it's encoding and I don't know if the japanese subs I'm trying to put in will even work.... why does it have to be so frustrating?!!????
