Hi all I'm new to the Darkside, and am very impressed so far. One question I do have is why are there no Lynda.com torrents on this site, as the site seems to have a lot of creative people in the community. I have been downloading these titles for the past year and find them great for learning all the latest graphic and layout design software apps, they are also great for learning lots of design skills. A good site for downloading these CDs and DVDs is http://www.mininova.org/. Anyone else know of sites to download training titles?

I'm currently in school taking web technology, with a focus on web design. I don't have any experience with photoshop, cause we were using the macromedia 8 suite prior to the merger. I have noticed that photoshop is a lot better than fireworks. Do you have any ideas of where I can download some free dvd tutorials. Also, do you have any advise or tips you'd like to share?

yes I am a huge fan of Lynda Tutorials too. Poking and prodding learning is slow and tedious. Lynda gives it to you from the foundation and then builds with step by step by seeing hearing and doing and then repeating whenever you have the time and inclinationj. Demonoid and Ozone Torrents have extensive Lynda Collections.
