● For the purposes of the Playground, spam is word games etc that invite people to be sociable ...not adverts or unanswerable junk. It must also follow the main site rules and the picture rules.
● Posting junk like '+1' is not friendly spam. Our MemberLevel promotions are based on posting-quality anyway, so whilst we encourage members to post, its no guarantee of promotion ... in fact, moderators are almost human too () and MAY get irritated by people just posting for the sake of it.
● Check for a similar existing topic before starting a new topic. Keep in mind that spamtopics might have a silly name.
● The button is called 'New Reply' for a reason, so each post must fit in with the topic's theme/rules and should be a proper reply to someone's earlier comment (if possible). In other words, the spammy conversations should stay readable and open for anyone to join in at any time, so do not use the Playground topics for private conversations (use the PM system for that). e.g. from the "Say Something About The Person Below" thread, posting "vvv should read the message I just sent" or "vvv made me blush last night" would not encourage anyone to post apart from the person it is aimed at.
● Please consider that your fellow Darksiders might have a different age and/or cultural background, and that little jokes can easily be misunderstood, so keep that in mind when reading and posting. Make sure everyone feels welcome at the MP
● Despite your paranoia, our Moderators are not out to get you (). They are simply making sure that every post is appropriate and complies with our Spamming and Community Rules, in case you get a little carried away in the heat of the spam.
Every Moderator's action is a private matter so if you disagree with a Moderator's decision, then discuss it with the Moderator via the PM system instead of using the public topics to complain about it. Flame a Moderator and you will die screaming.
