ghost in the shell is a good film, don't get me wrong i am a big fan of the 1st movie,

it's the 2nd and the stand alone complex storys.
they should of never made these, as now i feel that the storylines from the 1st movie has been lost and now a bit to far out of reach ?

I'm watching SAC again at the moment, and no it's not really as good as the first two films, which I must see again! However, as a series on it's own I think it's quite enjoyable, especially the complex episodes. I'm not a huge fan of the stand alone episodes as they never have enough time to get going and by the time you're into them they're over.

never seen a sequel better than the first movie and that goes for anime movies and ghost in the shell as well. they just try to keep up with the story and at some point it just gets too much.

I take it you're not a fan of the Solid State Society and Laughing Man films then haha.

good idea tho, a stand alone story or complex story.
