I'm going to have to break the rules here, and put down more than one song, since there are so many to choose from. Quite unfair really...

NIB
Childen Of The Grave
Electric Funeral

Great Choice dude smile3.gif

Well as said there are indeed many to choose from. Personally I must say only from the Ozzy Osbourne era, I really didn't like the Ronnie James Dio replacement, and sadly have never heard the album with Ian Gillan.

That said what to chose

I really can't get past the very first sounds to come out of a Black Sabbath album - what an impression they made, "Black Sabbath" leading into "The Wizard", simply back in 1970 what incredible sounds and music to come out of the player

"oh no..... oh no..... please help me....." masterful :a013:

I listen to "Warpigs" while I play Halo 2. If you really knew me, you would know that means a lot. a015.gif

The Wizard, I remember the first time I listened to my dads Sabbath vinyl collection and I picked out the first one, listened to the first track and loved it but it was the second track that caught me.
Its just perfect.

I simply cannot believe he ever did that. Every time I listen to it, I just shake my head and wonder why. It's worse than Ozzy and Ms. Piggy doing "Born To Be Wild".

I think its best to remember Ozzy in Sabbath, the first eight albums.
Not modern Ozzy.

AAAAAAARGH my brain is melting.

If it helps the unofficial box set was my first Torrent. Oh I listen to Sabath every day and was listening to Planet Caravan when I saw the thread so maybe Ill go with that. No wait.

After Forever " could it be you're afraid of what your freinds might say when you believe in God above. they should realize before they critisize that God is the only way to love."

Oh, Geezer is a magician with 4 strings.

Why couldn't this be an easier question like which of my kids is my fav.

damn now Solitude is playing, can I change my answer. "my name it means nothing my fortune is less, my future is shrouded in dark wilderness, sunshine is far away, clouds linger on, everything I posesse now they are gone, now they are gone. Oh where can I go to and what can I do, nothing can please me, only thoughts are of you, you just left when I begged you to stay, I have not stopped crying since you went away, you went away, you went away...."

I used to get hauled on stage by my buddies band to belt that and war pigs out.

War pigs is awsome but it puts my mind to the troubles of today so I don't sing it any more.

As they say on Millionaire, phinal answer, Hand Of Doom. "first it was the bomb, vietnam, napalm, disillussioning, you push the needle in, from life you escape, realities black drape, colors in your mind satisfy your time...."

Yeah I like the heavy topics.

DIDA
Guys,

NIB, Warpigs, Children of the Grave, that's all fine, but i really have to say Fairies Wear Boots (Paranoid, 1971), Die Young (Heaven and Hell, 1980) and Lord Of This World (nice solo)(Master Of Reality, 1971) are my favorites..
Well I like them all.. Snowblind (Vol 4, 1972) --> I must say I like the SOAD remastering (cover is such a harsh word) better then the original..
Maybe because of the speed:P I'm more of a punk fan, that will explain a lot.. although I spend many hours a week in a 70's/80's Heavy Metal/Hard Rock bar..

btw, this reminds me to upload all my rare sabbath live stuff and demo stuff

Cheers!
