Just finished watching the Berserk series. Must admit I was left wanting more. So I figured I'd ask around (since I can't find any more Berserk) about some similar gory animes.

I've watched Vampire D aswell, which I also liked. So I guess something in that style or genre.

i just finished watching "darker than black". try seeing that too. it is a really great anime.

That's what I'm watching now. I'm about half way through and so far it's good

the ending is even better. few anime with such complex stories have really good endings. most of really screw up in the end. have you tried the "devil may cry" anime"?????

I've actually been avoiding that one. I'm not a fan of game to film/toon/whatever stuff, they usually screw it up. Is it any good?

i really enjoyed it. you should try it. it is not a big series either but i think once you get to watch the first episode you will like it.

an anime that is very similar to berserk is claymore.i dont know why i didn't say nothing earlier but it is one of the best. gory, very violent and you just can't get enough of it.

Alright. Now I've watched Gantz and Devil May Cry and I enjoyed them both. So ty guys for suggesting them.

I will find Claymore now and give it a try. I just have to find time between school and sports..

And BTW, I lolled a couple of times @ Gantz. Damn the main character is horny.. Asians.. lol

Gantz has some funny moments in it but i felt the ending could be a little better

Try Bastard as well, that was pretty good. I've watched a bunch of different anime, and have been looking for new ones as well.

yaa berserk was a great, the manga is fantastic too.

yup the manga is awesome but the releases are a bit erratic, deadman wonderland is also a new manga with some blood and gore
