I just got done watching DemonBane. Loved the damn show, literally right up my alley, however, now I'm out of anime. Now, I will tell you all the anime I love and hopefully you guys can suggest something for me thats not Bleach, one piece, naruto, or yu-gi-oh.

I haven't watched it yet but now I've remembered I have it I will.

Trigun has bags of comedy value as well as a great story and loads of action.

Elfen lied is a great one, more horror than anything else but it still has lulz. Unfortunately it's one of the "12 episode crap" that you don't like but even so it's worth watching IMO.

Gantz has action up the wazoo. If you manage to find the second series of it let me know cos I haven't found it anywhere.

I didn't much like trigun actually contrary to the fact that I probably should, something about some moron rambling on about "OH I CAN'T KILL PEOPLE! THATS BAD!" turned me away from the series.

Well she's not exactly a little girl. At a guess she's in her 20's. She has pink hair and yes she's all nice and says only something like "Nyu" until she rends everything and everybody limb from limb single handedly.

I think I'll pass, not a big fan of watching people get torn to itty bitty pieces by tentacles.

^^ I haven't found an English Dubs, just with English Sub-Titles I prefer hearing Japanese voices than English ones

i have every episode and the movie on my computer, took awhile to d/l but sooo worth it.

yeah Gundam00 is a very very good series.
Gundam Wing will always be my favorite, but its definitely prtty close.

or if u want to wait, in november it starts airing, in english, in america on Sci-Fi.

also if you have direct TV there is the anime network. they actually have most of the stuff that is on there posted to thier web site to. its just all in flash..

Just a few personal favs worth mentioning anyway. Can't say for sure that you'll find most of them here on DS unfortunately, but they're definitely worth a look if you get the chance. Fell in love with most of them back when G4 was still TechTV and you know, didn't suck.. And Robotech is just a classic. First anime I ever personally got into.

Also, will definitely second Weaselking's post when it comes to Vampire Hunter D. If you like the films at all, check out the book series. Amazingly addicting. And on that note, if you're into Vampire anime at all Vampire Princess Miyu is worth a look.

On that note, I'll stop rambling on.

Might want to check out Full Metal Panic, All three seasons.
If you cant find it i might be able to help you out.

And Evangelion, not so much romance but awesome series nonetheless

On the comedy and romance side of things i would recommend Fruits Basket.

Ruruni Kenshin is also a good anime that has lots of different factors.

The one anime that jumped to mind that seems to fit all your criteria is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Its a little weird but it has humor, action, and a ton of giant mecha... its sort of a parody of the genre but worth a look anyhow. its starts a little slow so give it a few episodes.

edit: there are only 27 episodes (and its finished) but it felt long to me. I hope its long enough to be what your looking for.
