Overview of this guide
In this guide I will cover how to rip a DVD that has multiple episodes on it. This is only for those DVD's that have back-to-back episodes, also known as a PGC. Now, you are probably saying this to yourself, "Well don't all TV series DVD's have back-to-back episodes?" Well, this is true, but there are DVD's that have all those episodes in one PGC. I don't know to much about a PGC either, so you can look for more information on your own. Program Chain, Google Search. With some DVD's you can rip each episode from it and others (the ones I don't like) are combined in one. Even if you can get all the .VOB's (which each .VOB is basically one episode) you would need an .IFO for the .VOB (aka the episode). This is very helpful when ripping an anime series/DVD. Now on to the actualy process!
GUIDE
Programs needed for this guide . . .
+1Click DVD Copy Pro . . . NOTE IT MUST BE PRO!
+DVD43 . . . Free "On The Fly Decrypter"
+IFO Edit . . . For creating an .ifo(s)
+AutoGK . . . If you are encoding to AVI afterwards.
Step 1. Load the DVD into your drive and load up (if it doesn't automatically) DVD43. It should decrypt the DVD quickly.
Step 2. Open up 1Click DVD Copy PRO.
Step 3. Select the where you want the DVD ripped to (i.e. the destination). Select the audio that you want. If you want any subtitles, select them also. I am going to select them because I am ripping an anime. In the "Copy Preset" field, choose "Custom - Manually select what you want to keep(Expert)". Now in the "Properties" go to the "Title Sets" and choose the biggest/longest title and expand it so you can see the audio and subtitles streams. Now select the streams that you want. I will be using Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Step 4. Now press "Start" and wait for it to finish.
Step 5. Now that you are done with the ripping process, check your files. You should have one .VOB file named something like VTS_01_1 and an .IFO file named something like VTS_01_0. You should also have a .IFO file named VIDEO_TS. You should also have 2 .BUP files named the same thing. Files you should now have . . .
VTS_01_1.vob This is my episode 1
VTS_01_2 This is my second episode
VTS_01_3 This is my third episode
VTS_01_0.ifo
VIDEO_TS.ifo
VIDEO_01_0.bup
VIDEO_TS.bup
VTS_01_2 This is my second episode
VTS_01_3 This is my third episode
VTS_01_0.ifo
VIDEO_TS.ifo
VIDEO_01_0.bup
VIDEO_TS.bup
Your file names might differ from mine. And you don't neccessarily have to have the same amount as I do.
Step 6. Now take move episodes 2 and 3 to the desktop. The reason for this is when you open IFO edit, it scans ALL the .VOB's in the folder, and we only want it to make an information file (aka .ifo) from that one .VOB (aka the 1 episode).
Step 7. Now open IFO Edit and at the bottom click "Create IFOs" and selcet the only .VOB file that's in the folder. Navigate to the .IFO. I will select VTS_01_1.ifo. Make sure you have "Same as source" CHECKED under Output Stream.
Step 8. It will then proceed to scan the .VOB. When it's done it will show you a list of information about that particular .VOB file. Select VTS_01_1.ifo and you will notice a list of information comes up. The audio and subpicture (aka subtitles) will say it is unspecified. No worries! Double click audio and choose the language and then double click subpicture and choose the language of the subpicture. Now do the same for VIDEO_TS.ifo.

Step 9. Save the file now and hit "Yes" when it asks you. Congratulations! You just made your first .IFO!
Step 10. Now don't close IFO Edit yet. Open AutoGK and load the .ifo you just made. You will notice that it doesn't recognize the audio or the subtitles. It will just have a bunch of question marks. Go back to IFO Edit and load the IFO you made in step 8. Now specify the audio and subtitle language and save it again. I don't know why you have to do this, it just worked for me.
Step 11. This time when you load the .IFO in AutoGK it will show the proper audio language and the proper subtitle language. That's it! Your done! You now have a fully working .IFO file for the .VOB!
You can now proceed to either use AutoGK to make an AVI or you can use your other favorite program!
NOTE: If AutoGK or any other program can't find the subtitles in the .IFO then either rename the .IFO to the SAME NAME as your .VOB or edit the IFO and make sure that the audio and subtitle is set properly.
And that's it! Please not that I am not very good at helping people but if you have a question or a problem then post here and I will try to help.
