Not sure if anyone has posted this resource before (I searched), but I found this site with a good many brushes and some patterns as well. All brushes can be downloaded as brush type files (.abr) and most can also be downloaded as images. It took me a couple hours to grab them all as you need to go to a separate page for each download.

Enjoy! I know I will!

that's weird, I used the search feature and even used asteriks.... I must have spelled it wrong unless the search feature can't parse links unsure.gif

but I will admit I am having a bit of fun learning brushes and Photoshop and that's all that matters smile3.gif

what do you mean by doesn't fit on CS2? I am using CS2 and every brush set I've loaded seems to work. There was one brush I picked that was set at 2500px which was WAY too big for what I was working on at the time. When I lowered the pixels I could finally see the brush. I have heard that some newer brushes and plugins might not work with older versions of PS so maybe some don't work. I haven't tried them all.

Some brushes is not compatible with CS2.. .Notice the 'filter' on the brusheezy.com? "Filter by Photoshop Version" biggrin.gif
JasonP27
ah yes thank you I see that now. always something to learn when it comes to PS isn't there blush2.gif

I can vouch for that. All brush and pattern files from Obsidian Dawn work with CS2. Brushes are fun, I am still learning how to use them. Paint.net comes with no real brush system, just one default brush, though you can get a plugin to add custom brushes.

Not that anyone needs to vouch for any of our trusty Admin. tongue.gif scare.gif

^^ TwistedBrush have tons of brushes included when you install it.. .Although it's not that same with PS.. . biggrin.gif

It's very addictive messing with brushes, blending options, etc.. . a013.gif Last time I'm using Fw, I'll have to look for bg to use and mess with it.. .Now in PS, I'll just use Clouds as bg, a render and some brushes and there you have it, a new sig a013.gif

I guess sometimes it can be and sometimes you get frustrated trying to get the effect and look you want drinks.gif

blush2.gif Sounds simple but takes me a couple of hours satisfying my sig-taste a022.gif
