Connected my mac to the TV screen so I could watch a movie and now my mac screen is black, I can still see the desktop on the T.V. but if I try to disconnected the T.V I cannot see what I am doing.. so I cannot do "detect screen" tried it, did´t work... the letters on the TV are blurry so I can´t see clearly PLEASE HELP!

Since I'm now only using my tv for pc purposes e.g. watching .avi's and stuff and today I encounter this "little" problem, I have some questions and hope that someone has an answer or two

1 Has anyone had this problem and if so can you please explain why the screen on my computer went black?

2 is their some information I should know about connecting my T.V. to my Mac via cables...can it cause graphic card problems?

3 when I was trying to write here for help, I could hardly see what I was writing as the tv screen was so blurry, but when I watched movies it was ok, what am I doing wrong?

I been watching movies this way for a week now, this is the first time the screen went black...

The fact that All Hallows Eve its approaching should had helped! so disappointed with the new covent management, , how dare they !! Witches and Warlock need a new assembly and I guess I have to take over again! .

did you realize you have to switch back to your screen before you disconnect the computer from the TV by the System Preferences??? it won't auto-detect back to the screen... you need to tell it to... teach it who the bitch is!!

did that work?
