I don't know the actual term but what I am trying to accomplish is taking a movie I bought and putting on a blank disc so that I don't ruin any of my real dvd's. If anyone has any suggestion's for software or point me in the right direction on where I can find the info on how to go about doing this. Thanks again even tho I know everyone on the mac help is probably sick of hearing from me but I am a newbie and yet to raise to the jedi level lol!!!!!

The term for this is "ripping" a DVD. I imagine you're trying to remove the copy protection.

Unfortunately, this is one area where the PC is far better than the Mac. There are 2 Mac programs that will (maybe) do this.
