i just copy and pasted the same thing over and over on a huge text box and tilted it and just copy and pasted the layer if it was necessary

I might make a new one soon

well we all start from somewhere and for being a first one its ok. just make sure whn you get photoshop not to get frustrated, it is a somewhat difficult program to get used to.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you. I am still new to things like this and I never had a clue how to do anything like this untill I read this tutorial. Using it I made my first sig and I am right now working on my second. I was wondering f mabey you could tell me how to put things like scrolling words and things like that into my new sig. I have seen a few like this and would really like to learn how. Again thank you!

appreciated. for animations i did this one
http://213.155.27.24/forums/index.php?showtopic=9806most simple animations work the same way. simple animations like scrolling text can be done in a similar fashion as the animation tutorial that link takes you to. any doubts dont hesitate to ask on the thread so that others that might have the same doubts could benefit from the answer.

the hydralisk is just the name of the thing in the image. you just insert an image in whatever you are making. by copying it from wherever you want and pasting it in PS

Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to do this

How cool is it to find a forum where knowledge is so freely shared. Once I get Photoshop I am SO going to give this a try!

This is a very nice tutorial. I created one, but I made a few changes. For instance, instead of using the clouds, I used the fiber effect. I also gave the background layer an inner glow of black. Nice touch I think. This is what I came up with...

Thanks for posting this.

Sep 29 2007, 11:51 PM
that is nice. it is always good to try your own touches. thats what this is all about. diversity. tutorials are design so you learn the basics with which you can then make your own things. nice job

Okay, so I have a really stupid question but, I have not been able to select an image within an image (cut-out) to be able to place in a different file. Please tell me what I am doing wrong or do I really have to erase the background or parts I don't want in a photo (which takes forever and just saying that makes me feel rather ancient . . . ). I know this is probably something really simple and when I have tried doing it according to the book it doesn't happen. Parts of the photo are missing or my corners and edges aren't smooth . . . what is the trick as the graphic you used seemed rather detailed.
