Hello.

At the moment i'm running vista ultimate 64bit and i'm bored with it. And i've been looking at this new windows 7 which basically looks like a rubbish version of leopard os.

So I was thinking on doing a new build with

Intel Q9550 quad
Asus Striker 2 mobo
corsair Tri3 dominator 6gb ddr3 ram
Geforce GTX260

I know the chip works with leopard but unsure about the rest.
I've trolled through the www. to no avail on compatibility on the other three items.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

as far as i know, apple sticks with ATi for their graphics, but have not really looked into nvidia support

i think iAtkos is what you want, and it should work fine, since nvidia does produce linux-native drivers, you shouldn't have a problem finding a mac version

This doesn't help the OP (sorry) but Apple is using NVIDIA in the new MacBook pros:

And apparently planning to use it in other models as well:

I was also eyeing up the ATI HD 4870 or the new Phsy X one which is rather expensive at the moment but i'm going to leave the graphics as the final buy. Just to see if the PhysX one comes down in price.
