Does anyone know how to do this ??
Mazuki
if you have a firewire cable, and the firewire connection on a PC, you can boot your powerbook into target disk mode, then with the right program in your PC you can access it's hard drive

If you just want to transfer files, etc, and if you have a network card in your PC, you can just get a 10 base T rj45 CROSSOVER cable, and run it directly between the two (all macs have a network card). Using a crossover cable eliminates the need for a hub. If you have a hub, just 2 regular 10BT patch cables will work. Hope this helps.

Ok 1st of how do i boot into target disk mode and which program will i need ??

unless you are on an older mac, reboot and hold the "T" key while booting, then your mac will operate as if it were an external drive

if you don't have a firewire cable handy, then a hub/switch and a network cable will be sufficient, although sharing files between a mac and a PC can be fussy

not when using target disk mode, or even when using a network cable, all the work is done by the mac :)
